Golden Mean are four gentlemen residing in Sydney, Australia that banded together over a love for music and bands that embrace the do-it-yourself ethic. Finding common ground in their many influences, the foursome set to work creating their own songs that feature bold guitar lines, muscular rhythms, lurching dynamics and a playful, if at times melancholy, lyrical sensibility.

After two years of countless live shows and recording two well-received demo's, Golden Mean have just released their debut EP, 'The Riddle of Motive'. Staying true to the DIY ethic, the lads have funded the recording themselves. Ethics aside, the boys are now broke and really hope a lot of people like their tunes enough to buy 'em!
